Sitter sessions.
Last year I got to meet the little beauty you see above, the lovely Cadence!
I was asked to capture her newborn photos as her parents Natalie and Lance were friends with another baby’s parents that I had photographed.
Lance told me that once they had seen their friends images they knew that when they started their own family I would be taking their child’s images, which was so lovely to hear!
Cadence was a superstar for me at her newborn shoot, and we were lucky enough to be joined by both Nannies so getting to capture those images too was a real honour.
I literally can not believe that Cadence’s sitter session came around as quickly as it did, it really doesn’t seem that long ago since her first shoot with me. I’ve included some newborn images above just to highlight how much babies change in what we feel is just a short amount of time.
Sitter sessions are so much fun and getting to see that little baby grow and develop their own personality is so sweet.
I always aim to capture their personality and those adorable giggles and smiles, I’ve been known to have a sing song, play peek a boo, dance and make funny noises to get babies laughing 🙂 I’m fine with them thinking I am mad as long as we get those natural smiles!
All in all I just love seeing my Newborns at their sitter sessions as it’s just that next milestone along the way of them growing, and I get to document that, What a privilege!
